Upcycled Denim Set

For this project I was instructed to upcycle an item of clothing from my closet that doesn't get enough wear. I chose a pair of levi 505 jeans to turn into a matching top and skirt.

60's Inspired Mini Dress

This project was inspired by 60's mod style, specifically micro mini skirt lengths, as well as vest style dresses from the 70s.

I used a commercial pattern and fit it to my desired style and size.

Bedazzled Graphic Tee

I was inspired by baby tees from the 90s and 2000s. I used a pattern for a simple knit tshirt and adjusted it for style and fit. I then hand-placed each gemstone on the front and back.

I wore this design in the Apparel, Retail Merchandising, and Design 'Refined Runway' Fashion Show in Spring 2024.

Repurposed Tie-Back Tank

This garment is made from a second-hand curtain from a thrift store. I used a commercial pattern for the bust, adjusted for style and fit, and added stylistic details like the tie-back, bottom layer, and front buttons.

I showed this design in the Apparel, Retail Merchandising, and Design 'Refined Runway' Fashion Show in Spring 2024.

Linen Folded Trousers

For this project, I used a commercial pattern and adjusted it for style and fit. Key design details include welt pockets, front pockets, and a heavy cuff on the pant legs.
