Behind the Scenes: 4 months of creating
From start to finish, this project has challenged me in ways that I didn't know were possible. Over the past 4 months I have learned more about apparel construction, fit, and pattern making than I have ever before. Taking my sketches and ideas and turning them into real life garments, ready to walk the runway has been a dream come true. Although sharpening my design skills has been key, the most important thing I learned throughout this project has been time management and organization whithin a large creative project. It has been a learning curve to discover what keeps me motivated and prevents me from burning out when I spend so much of my time on one thing. I believe it is these skills that I will continue to use throughout my career.
