As President of FABO from August 2024-May 2025, I led a student-run organization dedicated to fostering connection, growth, and opportunity for students interested in fashion, retail, and business. My role involved planning and facilitating regular meetings, coordinating campus and community events, and managing all communication efforts, including email campaigns, member updates, and a cohesive social media presence.

I oversaw a team of officers and members, delegating responsibilities based on individual strengths while ensuring everyone felt included and empowered to contribute. From organizing guest speaker panels and resume-building workshops to leading collaborative efforts with other student groups, I strived to create an environment where members could grow both professionally and personally.

In addition to administrative leadership, I focused heavily on communication strategy and brand identity for FABO. I implemented a consistent social media schedule to improve outreach, redesigned our email communication format to boost engagement, and introduced new ways for members to participate outside of meetings.

My leadership has contributed to the organization’s increased visibility and member retention. I was proud to be nominated for the Mary McCannel Gunkelman Recognition Award for making the most significant and unselfish contribution to creating a happy environment for the enjoyment of students on NDSU campus, as well as NDSU’s Bison Student Leader of the Year, recognizing my work in building a supportive, well-organized, and purpose-driven community within FABO.

Before being elected President in April 2024, I held the role of Event Planner on our executive team. I found fun ways to participate in the campus and surrounding communities and encouraged group bonding outside of our regular meetings.
