Event & Social Media Internship
The Fitting Room
Edina, MN

As the Event & Social Media Intern for 'The Fitting Room', I work in store to provide a personal shopping and styling experience to our customers. At 'The Fitting Room' we sell clothing, accessories, and jewelry made by local Minnesota designers. The most fun part of my job is thinking up new ways to layer and style pieces from different designers together into fun looks. I also work as a production assistant at store sponsored events including the biannual 'Evolve' runway shows and popups. My role includes creating and posting photo and video media to our Instagram page: @thefittingroommpls

Since I have begun posting to @thefittingroommpls, our profile activity has gone up 36.4%, accounts reached have gone up 65.3%, our profile visits have gone up 31.4%, and our business address taps have gone up 47.1%. Additionally, 41.3% of our views have come from accounts that do not already follow us.

The reel 'My top 5 last-minute gift picks' has received 1200+ views, 71.6% being from accounts that do not already follow us-- reaching 896 accounts.

My most recent reel '2026 trend predictions', has received 1200+ views, 73.6% being from accounts that do not already  follow us and has reached a total of 798 accounts.

Bridal Stylist
Wedding Shoppe Inc.
St. Paul MN

As a bridal stylist, I provide personalized service to brides and other customers, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations, assisting customers in selecting wedding dresses, accessories, and other products. I build rapport with customers to understand their unique needs, styles, and preferences and conduct and manage professional and timely customer appointments, including follow-ups to ensure satisfaction. I must also exceed individual and team sales goals to contribute to the business's success and close sales effectively, driving revenue.

My prior experience in sales has granted me important skills that I use every day in this role. My experience in apparel design has also been beneficial in building trust with clients and providing advanced knowledge of dress construction in appointments.

My favorite part of this role is getting to be a part of such a special and vulnerable moment in the lives of so many brides. (Also trying on pretty dresses!)

Sales and Management Internship
The Buckle Inc.
Fargo, ND

During my summer internship at The Buckle, I led a youth department business plan focused on merchandising, team education, and guest engagement. I created a youth-to-adult size conversion chart, redesigned displays for better accessibility, and developed strategies to help teammates confidently present youth product to customers. Through creative visual merchandising and targeted sales efforts, I helped drive a 17% sales increase and significantly improved our department’s national ranking. This experience sharpened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, especially in a fast-paced retail environment.

Hidden Pines Ranch Day Camp
Grant, MN

For the summers of 2021, 2022, and 2023 I worked at Hidden Pines Ranch Day camp in Grant, Minnesota for 10 weeks while on my break from school. This experience taught me so much about myself and how I can best collaborate with people of all ages. I learned many valuable leadership and people skills. My main role for two summers was area lead for the 'Explore, Drama, Culture' program. I taught youth about having respect for all cultures as well as fun ways to connect with different cultures.

My final summer, I was the area lead for the 'Nature Camp Craft' Area. I taught the kids about fire safety, cooking many treats over the fire, and wilderness/survival skills that I learned thorough my many years participating in Girl Scouts.

Joann Fabrics
Woodbury, MN

In high school, I was a team member at Joann Fabrics in Woodbury, Minnesota. In this role, I was required to keep up-to-date on new products, services, promotions, and pricing structures. I also handled customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. Additionally, I helped build product displays to attract attention to sales and promotional items. My favorite items to help merchandise were the Christmas ornaments and decorations.
